It's summer time! The time of sun, trips to the see or the mountains and barbecues; but also the time for the main international activities!
MILSET Europe is not resting: From 13th to 20th July the 7th Expo-Sciences Europe - ESE 2008 - was organised in Budapest, Hungary. About 300 persons coming from 26 countries had the possibility to get to know each other on numerous cultural activities, visit the beautiful city of Budapest and of course present their projects about science and technology. This event was greatly carried out by Victor Lugosi and his team from TIT Kossuth Klub, our Hungarian member. They’ve shown a great combination of professionalism, motivation and smiling face! Thank you!
The MILSET Europe General Assembly was held during this ESE 2008 and we - Antoine (President), Alberto (Vice President), Steffen (General Secretary), Alain (Treasurer), Mara, Rike & Goncalo - were elected to form the new Executive Committee with the charge of leading the development of our Movement for the next 2 years. We thank you for your trust and are looking forward to mastering the upcoming challenges together!
Summer is here with many other activities, the science camps are in the peak season with the ISSC in Portugal or the Altaï expedition in Russia;
Summer is here and our Lithuanian friends of LGMOA are working hard at the development of the European Science Day for Youth - ESDY - to make the year 2009 the pivot to a new era;
Summer is here and under the lead of UNF Denmark, we’ll care about climate trough the Youth Climate Conferences - YCC - an ambitious programme running for one year at global level;
Summer is here and we wish you all the best for it!
